Shiny new Wii for Kya.
Tuesday marked the end of our super spectacular Bubble Arena raffle and if you didn't know, Kya.THUG.Rep won the drawing for our Grand Prize! You've probably seen Kya and her crew around BA kicking some serious butt. We thought you'd want to know more about the winner so here is an exclusive interview with Kya!
QQ: Thousands of people participated from all over the country in this tournament from all different ages and backgrounds, but you’ve emerged as the winner how does it feel?
Kya: I feel really lucky, I was shocked and didn't think that me out of all people would win lol
QQ: really? you had 800+ tickets!
Kya: yeah, my freind mari has almost 2k tickets
QQ: oh wow, well, I guess you could invite her over to play some wii sports.
Kya: lol yes
QQ: How does the crew feel about you winning?
Kya: they were shocked too lol. I didn't even know what I won, I didn't even check to see who the winners were these past two weeks, I just came in the chat and everyone was like omg kya u won lol
QQ: Thats crazy! So you were just playing ?
Kya: yeah, one day i didn't even play at all and then a couple days I didn't even play that much
QQ: Hm alright, so tell us a little bit about yourself:
Kya: umm well i live in florida, i love being out on the water and working on boats, and on QQ too lol it's addicting, there are some good people on
there who I enjoying talking to and playing with
QQ: awesome! What makes QQ so addicting to you? Whats the magic juice?
Kya: I think if you're really competitive it can become addicting with the ranking and all like any other game, but if you chat and get to know the people then that plays a big part too
QQ: mm I know what you mean, its super competitive in there, especially in ba. So who are the people you enjoy playing with?
Kya: sammy, gato, lopa, mikey, grant, stephan, amjad... wow lots of people, mari & brad too who I don't play with enough anymore lol
QQ: haha the whole crew huh?
Kya: yea, and they are all better than me too lol but I love playing with them, they make it fun
QQ: Meet anyone interesting during the raffle?
Kya: umm no I don't think I met any new people lol
QQ: so what music do you listen to when you play?
Kya: I usually listen to a playlist and it has a lil bit of everything on there, rock, rap, r&b, country
QQ: haha you mean you never listen to the BA game music? its soo good!
Kya: hahaha no offense but I have that turned off
QQ: any special snacks that really help your BA skills
Kya: hm nope not really
QQ: no red bulls huh
Kya: lol no
QQ: So when and where do you play QQ? do you have a favorite place?
Kya: I usually play at night in my room, everyone seems to be on then
QQ: mmm, everyone seems to come on after dinner.
Kya: lol yeah
QQ: Looking at how you played Bubble Arena when it first came out and how you play now, what have you learned or what changes have you made to your strategy to make you a better player?
Kya: when I first played I would drop and bomb and then trap myself all the time, now everyone just does that for me lol most of the people I know have played more than me and have gotten really good, so I guess I need to play more and work on some tricks, I'm still "old school".
QQ: haha "old school" huh well its pretty hardcore if you can beat people with out any tricks
Kya: lol yea, or just really lucky lol
QQ: lol! or that
QQ: Any up and coming players you think we should all be looking out for as a top contender?
Kya: lopa is back, and he used to be really good, so if he sticks around watch out for him because he's getting good again lol
